研究概要

私の関心には 1.（広義の）生態人類学にかかわるもの 2. コミュニケーション、相互行為にかかわるものという二つの方向性があります。前者としては、ボンガンド社会のタイム・アロケーションを調査したもの、民族植物学的な仕事、GISを用いた土地利用の話などがあり、後者としては処女論文である野生化牛の社会構造の話、小離島の対人関係の社会調査(修士論文)に始まり、ボンガンドとバカ・ピグミーの発話様式に関する一連の研究、ボンガンドの個人名の研究(かなり文化人類学の色彩が強い)があります。またこれと並行して、フィールドの話ではなく相互行為に関する理論的な論文を、1990年代半ばから書き続けています。
